Commissioning a range cooker
When a range cooker is installed it needs to be set up to the manufacturers
specifications to enable correct and efficient operation. Pegrum
Ltd are OFTEC
(oil) and Gas Register
qualified and can commission your range cooker correctly. Only oil
and gas range cookers need to be commissioned. Although some electric cookers need to have necessary tests undertaken to ensurew the are safe and work correctly.
Pegrum Ltd are contracted by Aga Rayburn to commission
their Agas and Rayburns. The commissioning service is free of charge
for new units providing the installation process has been carried
out in accordance with the installation instructions. Other manufacturer’s
range cookers can been commissioned from £90 upwards depending
on the model and fuel type.
The commissioning process takes approximately two or more hours.
Commissioning MUST be completed prior to using
the Range Cooker.
DO NOT attempt to use your Range Cooker until commissioning
has been completed. |
